Sinus Lift

The sinuses in the upper jaw are air-filled spaces located above the upper premolar and molar teeth, with the interior lined by a thin membrane.

When individuals lose their back teeth in the upper jaw, they often lack sufficient bone for implant placement. A sinus lift is a common surgical procedure designed to create adequate bone in these areas. During the procedure, the sinus lining is gently raised, similar to inflating a balloon, and bone material is added between the jaw and the sinus lining. This procedure can be performed either before or simultaneously with the implant placement.
